Year in Review
As I alluded in last year's post, there's a lot of podcasts being made, and maybe not all of them are the best. But, despite my negativity, and less time than in past years to listen, I've found so many podcasts to love this

My shortlist for this post was initially a total of 37 performances that I wanted to feature. So for the past two weeks, I've been sitting here looking at my list, arranging, then re-arranging it with a Winnie-the-Pooh look on my face: This has been

With another year of spectacular performances I had the good fortune to take in, I realize how hard it is to compare the apples to, I don't know, mangosteen fruit that is various types of art performances. Maybe in future years I'll do a best of

Honourable mentions: * Flow (2024). A silent film with a cast of animals that gives way to a beautiful soundscape and an underlying narrative that will make you think truly about life, the world, and how we live in community. * Will and Harper (2024). Will Ferrell and his dear friend Harper

Despite a little less time for podcasts, and my lamentations last year that they are harder to find, this year had a number of really excellent podcasts to listen to! What Went Wrong If you’re someone who loves movies, and misses the early seasons of You're Wrong

Mindfully Mine
Another year, another bunch of podcasts! I think I was hesitant to post this year’s list (hence, the late, late publication date of this blog), but I think I need to re-frame my thinking. I’ve been lamenting loudly that the quality of podcasts has been going downhill,

20 - Banshees of Inisherin (2022) This unexpected dark comedy (?) tragedy (?) knocked my socks off. I was constantly surprised by where this story took us. The acting was incredible - an absolute tour de force from the entire cast. When we saw this, I needed a full cake and hangout session with

As much as I love podcasts, and as much as I love year end roundup lists, I didn’t think to pick my top ten until just the other day. As many of you have heard my sad tale of woe, in a major update from Apple, my podcast app
